| Rough night for Teddy Teddy has been down for a couple of days because of our stormy weather. He has enjoyed car rides and a short walk today, but he has been so upset with the lightning and rain at night. Tonight, our power went out, but not completely. It made the hard-wired fire alarms emit a continuous high pitched noise and the digital clocks were flashing at a low level. Really weird! While I was working on disconnecting the alarms and dad was trying to figure out which circuit breaker would kill the them, Teddy hid in the back of a closet. Not knowing he was in there, we shut the door. I was frantically looking for Teddy, but he never made a peep and Max didn't point us to him. Finally found him! Gave him chicken to make him feel better. Poor guy is exhausted now.

| Awwww poor guy. Jackson gets the same way. He goes and hides and it really stresses him out and tires him out after these kinds of situations. Loud thunder or gun shots make him extremely nervous. We also have a smoke alarm that occasionally 'beeps' a high pitched noise, my dad hasn't fixed it yet, and it makes him very nervous. It's so hard to see them like that.

| Poor guy. Callie and him could start the I hate storms club. The beep that the tv makes when it has a weather alert sends Callie in to panic mode because she relates it to storms she either hides or gets as close to me as possible.

| The poor little guy, storms frighten so many dogs. I remember when we had a very large Collie long ago, she would jump on my lap and was so scared. I used to play music loud so she wouldn't hear it and laugh and dance but she was smart enough to know something not so good was going on when a storm hit town. I also know the fear of knowing a dog I thought was in the house and did not come from my call. I went into panic mode but she was sleeping. The storms have been terrible here for three nights in a row and more tomorrow but Friday looks good. Don't be frightened Teddy, it's all over. There is some type of jacket for dogs that is supposed to help with that but I'm not sure if small enough for a Yorkie.

| Poor thing! I hate seeing them stress out like that. I can't say I'm looking forward to the 4th of July this year because we have our new pup. We have our county's firework display 1.5 miles from us and we can hear and see everything including feeling the 'boom' reverberate. Please give Teddy a big hug from us.

I wish all doggies could be like Max. He isn't bothered by any of these things. The first year he was with us, we had terrible storms and were under constant tornado watch. I was scared, but he wasn't!

| Oh poor Teddy, that is so stressful. Hope things cheer up for him soon. I get so frustrated when my girls are missing, and I'm calling and looking for them and they don't let out a peep. They just sit there, under the bed or in a closet or bathroom quietly waiting to be rescued.
