| How old will your puppy be? Will it have all of its shots before the trip?

| I'm sure it will be fine. Just take the proper precautions. I wouldn't put her down in areas that are heavily populated by dogs - avoid dog parks, rest stops, etc, for putting her on the ground. Many people travel w/ puppies, especially considering a lot of people will travel long distances to get a pup from a breeder, etc. As far as travel, I tend to over-pack w/ Jackson's things, knowing we are far away from home and can't just go back to the house if I forget something. I bring multiple collars/leashes/tags in case one is lost or left somewhere or whatever. Always have tags on him with my cell # on it. I bring food & treats of course. I always have water bottles on me and a portable water bowl. I bring some kind of ex-pen or gate for hotel rooms so I can block him away from the door- God forbid it gets opened and he gets loose or something. Bring any meds.. I like to bring Benadryl in case of a reaction of sorts, also I bring allergy meds in case he's having some kind of allergic reaction to environment. I bring toys & chews to keep him occupied when needed. Umm I am probably missing some stuff. But that's the main.

| So she'll only be about 8 weeks old when traveling? That IS pretty young. There are a lot of breeders (most Yorkie breeders) who keep pups until 12 weeks. It's also illegal to sell pups under 8 weeks old in most states. And while I thik an 8week old is perfectly capable of traveling, make sure she is not too stressed. She's just a young little thing and hardly even knows you yet. I would maybe keep some Nutrical on hand. Make sure she is eating enough & getting enough water.

Donating Senior Yorkie Talker | Blister Yes, Blister i had the same concern the breeder is taking really good care of her i have been contacting them and etc. She may be 9 weeks or so when she comes homes next week but she will be older when we go back to FL. Breeder is giving her a lil bit of nutri cal and etc to help her get prepared to FLy. I talked to one of the other customers who bought a puppy from him and they were also 8 weeks when they went to pick them up. They did great airport is only 30 mins from me i rather pick her up from there then travel a day or two to pick her up |

| She should not be leaving her mom until 12 weeks and certainly not flying before then. The younger and smaller a puppy is the highier risk they have for getting hypoglycemia. Is she going to be in cargo? If she is you might have a very sick pup when she gets to you. Buying a pup on line you have to be very careful because puppy mills and very bad breeders will make there sites look really good when there not. One of the red flags would be letting the puppies go to young let alone flying them in cargo period.

| Even if she has food it is going to stress her out and she probably will not eat. Who is the breeder?
