| Baths How often do you normally bathe your yorkie? I am finding that Piper looks ready to have a bath every 5-6 days or so. I have been sticking with a once a week regiment but wondering if that's too much or perhaps too little. Piper is obviously only a baby and is still getting used to baths and being blow dried so with puppy fur may not need a bath too often. I just want her to look her best and get her used to being pampered Thanks! |

| In the winter I try touch it to 2 weeks. Now that it is warmer and they are outside more (dog park and yard) it is more frequent. It depends on when Sissy decides to roll in dog poop, goose poop and earthworms. She just loves that stuff and you should smell her! It is disgusting.

| We bathe Bella once a week. We do a betadine foot soak just before her bath to reduce the yeasty corn chip smell on the feet, and use Zymox ear cleaner on her ears to prevent yeast infections. |

| Depending on our activities, I will give my boys a mid-week body wash and clean their faces as much as possible. They have a full bath weekly. Like Margaritaville, during the winter I try to push the full bath to about 10 to 14 days.

| In the spring, summer and fall (allergy seasons) my vet recommends I bathe Callie every week so I try to. If it's warm I don't blow dry them she prefers rolling around on a towel. Every night though I clean her face and privates with a warm cloth and use sensitive baby wipes on her little butt and paws.

I bathe Shelby weekly - she definitely can use it - but would love something that took a little less time as a mid-week touch up. Looking into dry shampoos. .. | |

| Thanks for the great info. I love hearing how others care for their precious puppies. I've been wiping Piper's face daily because her eyes water so much. The vet said it's because the hair is just growing out by her eyes and it's making them water. He wanted me to wipe them down every day to keep it clean so she doesn't get anything in her little eyes. What do you guys do for a midweek wash down? do you just take a damp cloth and wipe down?? What's the best to use? I've been using baby wipes or a wash cloth on her face but haven't thought until now that I could be freshening her up mid week. Nikki |

| I think I'm one of the few that bathes my two once a month or so. But I do wipe them down head to tail every morning and night and/or every time we've been outside. I use baby wipes for the face/body but Zoey gets extra care for the eyes b/c of the tearing. I also wipe her eyes through out the day. |
