| Could use some help and info Max is my first yorkie That being said I do realize males are larger. 15 weeks 3 lbs he has gained 1 lb in a month and his leg length is taller. Max did not stand very well so approx 10 in. Is this normal or is he going to be one of those giant yorkies. Any input would help a lot I would not mined a couple lbs over if he has reached his height. Help!! |

| I've heard that they grow up & fill in or something like that. But some Yorkies have long legs, some are shorter, it all depends on their genetics...don't worry, all that matters is that he's healthy & happy, right?

Donating YT 3000 Club Member | I agree. . . He is growing at a nice rate. You never know what will happen. You can get an idea from looking at his parents. But it is not exact.

| Ty for all of the help. I had visions of him being 16 lbs and as tall as my Boston Terrier. Lol I took my shih tzu to the groomers a couple of mos ago. A lady had her "yorkie" male in for butt shave. He was every bit that big! He had the coloring of a yorkie but man was he big! FYI she had let his his hair grow into rectum. Any way I am glad Max will be normal and healthy!!!! |

| I can't remember Barney's exact weight at that time, but I asked for a larger puppy. It seems like he was around 10 inches tall when he was 3 months. He is nearly a year and a half now. He is 12 inches tall, 11 inches long and almost 6 pounds. Here's a few pictures so you can get an idea of what a taller yorkie looks like.
