| Yorkie Groomer Can anyone recommend a groomer on the east end of Long Island, NY? I have 2 Yorkies and I am in need of a new groomer. I keep there hair long not in a puppy cut. Not all groomers know how to groom them. Any suggestions? I live in Manorville, NY. Thank you. |

| Hi welcome to Yorkie talk, my Darla is still young so she hasn't needed a full on groom just yet. I plan to do Darla's grooming on my own. In my past experiences I'd talk over how I want my Shih Tzu's hair cut and when I'd pick them up there hair wouldn't look anything like I'd imagined. I recommend pinning some Yorkie cuts on Pinterest so that whom ever you take them to will have an exact idea of what you're after as far as the end result goes. That way you hopefully won't have any surprises. BTW, we love pics on this board so some before and after shots of them would be much appreciated. Good luck. | Thank you for your quick response. I may have to take you up on your suggestion and learn to groom them myself. Thank you for your input. I will post pics when I finally decide. |
