Senior Yorkie Talker | Why Does My Yorkie Keep Playing With Cat Litter & Keep Eating it? He doesn't eat the poop, but plays in the litter box just like its a sand box, and periodically eats the litter. The litter I use is called "scoop away multi cat scented." I guess training him to use the litter box isn't going to work. I like the litter box method better than puppy pads, because they don't give off a smell like puppy pads do. He hasn't used the litter box yet to go to the bathroom. |

| Bump! Lol, strange that he ignores the 'kitty kandy' and goes for the litter itself! I can't help, but I just wanted to bump this for ya.

Donating YT 3000 Club Member | Using cat litter for dogs usually don't work. . . You never know what dogs eat. Please take it away as soon as possible and keep an eye on him. That can make him sick or can cause a blockage. They make a dog litter. It is pellets. It is made of paper . . Try sell it at Petco and I think PetSmart

| I use Washable Pee Pads from T Bumpkins and they do not give off a smell. They can be washed frequently and always look brand new.
