| Vectra 3D topical Flea and tick killer....would like to hear from those who use it and if you like it....and how big your fur child is....any advise.... I'm new at this again it's been awhile and this is Zoeys first summer with us, she will be 11 months on the 9th and she weighs 3.4 Lbs so I research everything and could use a little advise on the stuff.......I never heard of it. Trip to the vet today......it's been a learning lesson on shampoos! ( can read about that on my other thread) Scary giving your baby heartgard and flea and tick control......boosters.....but necessary. .. |

| I've used Vectra 3D on Yazmin for over 2 years without any side effects, nor did we ever have any fleas or ticks. Our first summer Yazmin just turned 6 months old and weighed 3.3lbs. at the time, she now weighs 5lbs. Being cautious, I only applied 1/2 of the tube per month and sealed the remaining half for the following month. Although this is how I applied it I'd like to suggest that you discuss the dosage with your vet. There's others here who use Vectra 3D, hopefully they'll see this and can be more helpful. In the meantime here's a link to the thread you and I both posted on earlier discussing shampoos, a member posted informative links to Vectra 3D on page 2. Wishing you and Zoey a fun filled summer! http://www.yorkietalk.com/forums/gen...anymore-2.html |

| I have used it for two years too. This year will be my third. I don't find fleas or ticks on my girls and I live in the country. If I don't use it, they will get ticks on them. I started using it because my vet recommended it. One thing I do that others may not agree with is I split the tube between both girls. So about 1/2 tube each. It is still effective. I also have not had any problems using it. The girls have done great with it. My girls are 4 lb and 6 lb.

| Rosie is close to 6 lb and Mikki is close to 4 lb. But Mikki was 3 1/2 lb when I first started using it. Now she is a little chunk!!

| I have always used 1/2 a tube and it still works well. Mine says 2.5 lb to 20 lb. if you sign up for their emails on the website you will get specials. Like buy 3 get one free or buy 6 get two free. They also have sent a free tube with purchases. So if you are interested go sign up!

| Like the others, yes it does. What I do is put my girls long hair up in a scrunching to keep the greasy in just one area. Lol.
