| Help crying yorkie Hello im new to this and it has been a while since i have had a puppy. I need help. This is the second night for us having our new addition and she cries when she is left alone even if it's just for a little while. I can understand why. I just would like to know what i can do to make it easier for her. |

| It's normal she needs to get used to being away from mom and siblings. Give it another day or two. This is why some breeders leave yorkies with mom till 12 weeks they still need there mom. Congratulations on your new addition.

| Hi welcome to Yorkietalk, Congrats on getting your new puppy. You can try putting a stuffed animal/dog toy with her in the crate so she doesn't feel too alone.

| I would let her cry that way she gets used to her crate. If you rescue her every time she whines it will take her longer. My girl had one puppy 6 weeks ago and when she leaves the baby alone for some mommy time, the baby would cry now the little girl is use to being alone for short times and dosent cry. I make sure she has food and water all the time because yorkies are so small and could get low blood sugar and dehydrate vary quickly. It took her 3 days to get used to being alone.
