| Lays potato chips... Yep... turns out that you can't have just one. They're SOOOOO cute!!! My Bernard is 7 months old and his breeder has new female pups born this week. (different mom) I'm thinking about bringing one home, but my only concern is he won't want to snuggle with me any more if he has a playmate. I've seen that many of you here have more than one yorkie and am wondering about your experiences. Will Bernard still be my amazing boo? (He just got his S.T.A.R. puppy medal this week) |

| I have two and wouldn't ever go back to owning just one! My two love each other so much. It is amazing. I love seeing them cuddle, play, and just love each other. This is not true for all pairs, but I definitely got lucky. My two are best friends and when they are separated for even just a couple minutes, they reunite with kisses. I would definitely recommend having two yorkies

| That's good to know Michelle. Did you have one first? or get them together? And do they snuggle with YOU? or do they prefer each other's company? |

I know this is not the case with every pair. Some dogs end up hating each other, others love each other. It all depends on the dogs. I am very happy with having two and wouldn't go back knowing how happy they make each other.

| I love having 2. Barney was never super cuddly to begin with, unless he was tired. Anna is all cuddles. They play together and at bedtime, she cuddles at my feet and he gets between me and my husband. If anything, Barney cuddles more with me now. When he sees Anna in my lap, he wants to be right there with us.

| He will too still snuggle with you after a playmate comes. Their personality change they just have a dog companion. I have 2 and they are both snugglers and always have been. He may reject her at first. You need to give them about a month to get used to each other then they will be buddies

| Very exciting! This is the danger of staying in contact with your breeder. That is how I ended up with my second, Max's brother Teddy. Max and Teddy definitely are not too busy with each other -- they are both snuggle bunnies with me or their grandpa.
