| What would you do? Okay, I need some advice. This coming weekend my husband and I will be going out of town to visit some friends. We will be staying in a hotel and I dont want to leave Romeo at home alone. I guess I could find a sitter but I really dont want to spend the night away from him! I was just wondering what you all would do. We are staying in a place called the Fairfield Inn. I've checked out their website and it doesnt say whether or not they welcome pets so, Im thinking about smuggling him in in his carrier...... I dont want to call and ask because if they say they dont allow pets, I will still want to take him anyway. Im in a dilemma here, any advice would be greatly appreciated. |

| You could call anonymously and just ask if they are pet friendly or not. But, I'd personally smuggle him in if possible. |

| You are running short on days till the weekend so I would call the hotel and explain you have a small pet and see if pet's are welcomed. Im not in favor of you trying to sneak Romeo in. I just placed a thread called "hotel horror" if you'd like to read my experience I just had over the weekend. First off it will be a new place to Romeo so he will be nervous, second if you try to hide him, you will be nervous and Romeo will sense that and in return make him nervous. So if he's snuck in, he will bark...Trust me, he will bark...All those strange hotel sounds etc just brings it out in them, ha ha.. If you don't want to bring Romeo try to find a trusted friend that can watch him or do a real good search on a trusted boarding facility. Your vet might be able to recommend a good boarding place or even the vet might offer this service to you himself??
