| Bella loves to lick!!!! Literally! Hi yorkie parents, Just a quick question... Does your yorkie love to lick ? Bella will be four in August, I feel that as she gets older she's doing it more and more. Don't get me wrong I love my babies. But all she does is lick any chance she gets. Is there anything I can do? It's almost to the point to where I can't even pet her.

| yes my Cedric is a serious licker. he has to lick my hands at night before bed. he will actually get upset with me if I do not let him. I am not sure if there is a way to deter it as he is not always doing it but he does lick his bear bear also. i think its comforting for him as it mostly does it when going for a nap time. hopefully others will chime in with some advice.

| Sally is a licker. If she can't lick a person or Snoopy, she licks the air. I've tried gently holding her mouth shut and saying "no lick" for a couple seconds and then letting go and saying "ok, kisses!" Not having great success with that.

| My Ziva licks as a calming habit, mostly paws every evening, altho sometimes she'll continue on the leather couch or my feet. My daughters new rehome- 8 yearold Mitzi has a paw licking face cleaning routine that is yucky but adorable. Abby wouldn't lick unless it was food covered! |

| Sophie is sitting next to me and licking my hand/arm right now (making typing annoying!) and she could lick all day if we would let her. She licks legs, feet, arms, hands, face (including noses and ears), neck, tries to shove her face down women's shirts and she even goes as far as to growl at us while digging at our belly buttons through our shirts! She has woken my husband up a few times with her tongue in his belly button...she can be a little jerk sometimes. Unfortunately for her, she gets denied anywhere other than lower legs, feet, hands, arms and face. She is going to be 5 in June and licks more than she used to...she even gives gives kisses to people that want to pet her when we are out! |

| Licky McLicksalot? Yeah, I can't imagine there possibly being MORE licking as time goes by. He already seems to lick us within an inch of our lives. And there's pretty much no stopping him. |

| Atleast im not the only one with a licker! Ive tried to tell Bella no and she just looks away then goes right back to licking! My male is the complete opposite! He dosnt lick as much as Bella! I think he even gets annoyed of Bella bc even while he sleeps she will go lick him over and over again! It drives me crazy! I cant just pet her without her trying to lick but I guess its just her showing love to us

| The older Piccolo gets, the more she likes to lick. I think it is a comfort thing too, because she always does this right before she falls asleep. |

| Yazmin's just turned 3 and has began licking more often when she's tired. I too believe it's a comforting thing and reminds me of a baby sucking on a pacifier. I do love my baby but there's times the constant licking can be slightly irritating to my skin. There's times I'll tell her "Okay, no more kisses" to redirect her attention and she'll stop. |
