| That's really interesting! I don't think that Bella barked until she was at least 4 months old, although she made a growling noise before that that sounds like "Nyuh nyuh nyuh nyuh nyuh." |

| Maybe it's a developmental stage? ZoE was about 6 months old when she first started barking. She saw her reflection in the glass front of my electric fireplace and that set her off barking. Now she's a frequent barker...any reflection, cars driving by, people walking/jogging outside, kids on bikes, neighbors mowing....you name it, she probably barks at it!

| Cookie didn't bark a whole lot when I got her at 14.5 weeks (OMG, I originally wrote 3.5 weeks!), and it was a quiet cute squeak. But as she has grown into adulthood (now 11 months) she has definitely grown a voice too, haha.

| My 8 month old got her name because I'd had her a few days (three months old) and she hadn't made a sound when she SUDDENLY "piped up!" Thus, Piper.

| My Izzy was 7 1/2 months old before she let out a bark. She is almost 9 months old and has only barked about 4 times. She is pretty quite. My friend has a 6 month old yorkie who barks all the time and she started barking the day she brought her home at 12 weeks old. Its funny to see our girls together and it amazes me how different they are. |

| Enjoy thinking the bark is cute lol. Lola was about 6 months too, I'm lucky she still doesn't bark much. She usually growls or talks (grumbles, growls, weird noises). For her barking is usually equivalent to yelling. |

| Lol I have a feeling I won't think it's cute anymore if she starts barking all the time. So far I've only heard that baby bark twice, and it's always when I come home. She probably wants to let me know she's waiting for me in her pen lol.

| Way to go Chloe! The first barks are adorable. Max was about almost 6 months old before he barked. Over time, he developed a big voice, expanded his range and reached new octaves. He loves the power of his voice. Teddy is almost 5 years old and recently figured out how to match Max's volume.
