I knit two dog sweaters! I knit my first two dog sweaters for Pebbles and they were fast and easy! Next I want to attempt a hoodie! This is my first attempt to attach pictures, so I hope it works!

| Good Job! She's adorable, I love the colors. What pattern did you use or was it "knit & go" LOL!..

It was a pattern I found on the internet. Just cast on 40 and work in a rib stitch for about 1 inch for the collar, continue in a garter stitch for as long as you want it to go, then work in a rib stitch for the last two inches. For the tummy section, cast on 3, increase 1 every row until you get to the width that fits between your dogs front legs and work in a garter stitch until you reach the length of the first piece. Add a 2 inch rib stitch. Take the first piece, right sides together and whip stitch the collar. Add the small end of the tummy section right beneath the collar and whip stitch each side, leaving a hole for the front legs. For the "fur" look I added a string of fun fur just for the collar and the border.

Good job I love knitting for my dogs and have tried all different kinds of wool and they are so individual . The last time we went to the vet they all asked where I buy all the stuff for my dogs and I said I just make them. I love the fur round the collar look. Keep up the good work.

Those are really great! I've got to get on the ball. I knit all the time, but haven't made any doggie clothes yet. For those of you who want to learn how to knit a good website is knittinghelp.com They have free online videos. I taught myself from a book and I sure wish I had seen this site before I learned!
