| Full Yorkie or Not? I just posted some pictures of my Yorkie in my album. I had her at the groomer for the first time today to get her nails trimmed and she asked me if she was a full Yorkie. She thinks she may have something else mixed in. Her hair is a little wiry and her legs seem long to me...but this is all new for me, so I'm not sure. She is 4 1/2 months old and weighs about 4 1/2 pounds. Thoughts? |

2+2=4 X the Love ♥ Donating Member | No madder what she is she is cute! I've seem some pretty long legged and hefty pure breed Yorkies in my day. Most do not have wiry hair not even the cotton coated ones. It could be she is mixed but with what who knows. Could be that she is just a poorly breed Yorkie that was not breed to standards. But even 2 standard Yorkies can produce a larger Yorkie. They come in all shapes and sizes and we don't love them any less !

| A sparse coat at 4 months might turn into a beautiful silky coat by age 1 year!

| She is adorable and looks full Yorkie to me. My boys are long-legged, and larger than the Yorkie standard.

| What a Doll! No matter what she is she is loved. I think she is yorkie. But if you are unsure can go get a DNA test. |

| I would also say full Yorkie. This is certainly one breed that the pups can all look so unique! My Puff has long legs and a long body, but to us she's perfect! What part of MD are you in? I'm in Harford County.
