| That's not normal. He may have allergies. You need to take him to the vet to test for allergies (might be environmental or food). |

Furbutts = LOVE Donating Member Moderator | If he's scratching quite a bit, it could be some sort of an allergy. Did you recently switch foods or anything, where the scratching started following it? Or new treats? The pollens are bad right now, so it could be enviro. But usually w/ enviro, they will chew/lick their paws - is that happening as well?

| Take him to the vet yorkies are vary prone to allergies. My boy gets allergies after shots, they usually give him Benadryl. Did he recently get shots? New food? New treats? Human food? Dewormer? Heartworm preventative?

Furbutts = LOVE Donating Member Moderator | Is he chewing and/or licking his paws? Pretty much all allergies cause dogs to do this, it's a cardinal sign of allergies in dogs.

Furbutts = LOVE Donating Member Moderator | Here you go: http://www.yorkietalk.com/forums/yor...de-thread.html Or, do you mean you want your pup as your avatar (the pic under your user name)?

| Is it just one area that he scratches or does he scratch his whole head? Is there any lesion on the skin from the scratching? An occasional scratch is usually nothing but when it is fairly regular you probably have some issue going on. Hopefully you can find out what it is before it gets any worse. |
