| flea My yorkie picked up a flea at the groomers. I have treated her with frontline, but she is chewing all the fur off her lower back. Any suggestions on what to do? Poor thing is in agony. She will be bald at this rate! |

| She may be allergic to fleas, just one bite can leave them itchy for a long time. Over the counter Benadryl is safe to give, try a tablespoon of children's Benadryl and see how she does. (Make sure the only ingredient is diphenhydramine). Poor thing, the groomers should be responsible for this in some way

| Uni also has a bad allergy to fleas. I keep her on Comfortis, but there are many kinds of flea preventatives. I would alert the groomer.

| For Benadryl dosing, is it correct that it's 1 mg of Benadryl per pound of pup?
