| www.affordableyorkies.com Have any of you ever purchased from this site? Do you know if it is legit? The prices seem too good to be true. I am currently looking to buy a female yorkie & came across this site. I can't find anything online as far as testimonials or people warning against this site. What do you guys think? |

| You know that saying that if it sounds too good to be true, it usually is. There is no way a decent breeder can breed Yorkies with proper care and sell them for under $300 -- especially spayed and neutered (I do not support altering a puppy at that age). They would be losing a lot of money fast. I don't like to see puppies/dogs in crates that have wire floors. That is something only mills do. The site says nothing about the breeding dogs -- what is their background?

| You want to make sure they come with a health guarantee - I did not see it offered on that site. That's usually a red flag. Also, they are letting their babies go at 10 weeks. They should not be separated from their mothers until at least 12 weeks.

| Too good to be true I agree. Sounds way to good to be true. The available puppy photos look like stock photos. They deliver anywhere in the USA at no cost? Yeah right. I have a feeling you pay for a yorkie that you will never see OR they steal your CC info. Also, out of curiosity I clicked "buy now". Norton blocked me from continuing the transaction. This is the warning that popped up. "Scam Insight: Personal Information Risk http://affordableyorkies.com/online%20payment.html" Way too many red flags. |

| Darn I was hoping someone could vouch for them. Anyone know any reputable sites that aren't selling puppies for an arm & a leg? |

| Looked sorta like a broker.... that one picture of a lot of vans with crates in them. Certainly didn't have a facility large enough to support that fleet. I believe it said no cargo for delivery, pretty sure there would be a hefty charge for the "nanny" flying. I wouldn't trust them. |

| You might consider rescuing one if you don't have the money to buy from a quality breeder.

Run, and be very afraid! The price is crazy low, clearly indicating....they have not received any prenatal care, post natal care, no special diet according to age appropriatness, and what vaccinations have they received and when were they started? Unless the person did the spay/neuter themselves, they paid almost the asking price for the sterilizations....which are done way toooo young. Dont even go here with this "deal".....you will get exactly what you paid for!......major problems down the road! | |

| I am sure it is a scam website. Research I did showed the website was just registered on 02/17/14 and the country of the IP address is Germany , DE , EU. Who would be crazy enough to just click 'Buy' and give them all their credit card information. I hate these scammers. Sadly there are people out there naive enough to fall for it.

| The spelling and grammar on that website are awful! I clicked on "buy now" and the prices on the buy now screen are significantly higher than they are on the "available puppies" page! I would certainly hope people aren't that desperate for a cheap yorkie! They will spay/neuter at 10 weeks for free and have your puppy delivered to you at no charge??? You have got to be kidding!

| No do not buy from this site. They can not sell a puppy that price and be doing the health testing and things that are nessisary to make sure the pups are healthy. They also are spaying and neutering the pups WAY to young, pups shouldn't be fixed until at least 6 months old. The puppies also look off to me and there are puppies there 3 different ages which means she had three different females pregnant and ready to give birth at the same time so there is no way she could give individual attention to each mother and pups.

| A yorkie puppy from a reputable breeder is going to cost you between $1,000 and $2000. You can look at rescuing a yorkie through a rescue but also keep in mind vet care is also expensive.
