| Baby Sophie not eating Since Sophie has been on meds from the vet for parasites she has not been eating very well. I am feeding her the same food the breeder was feeding her. Can anyone suggest something I could add to her food that might get her to eat better? Thanks in advance for all responses. |

YT 2000 Club Member | A little homemade chicken broth on her kibble might entice her to eat. Or even a little canned food mixed in her kibble. Hope she gets to feeling better, soon!

| IMHO, I'd try a bland diet of Chicken (boiled, no skin, no bones) and white rice (1:1), and/or plain chicken baby food while she's on the meds. If that doesn't help, I'd call the vet to discuss it with him.

| Thanks for the ideas! I just found out if I put the food on the carpet she will eat it but does not like eating out of her bowl. |

If you ever have trouble getting her to eat again, maybe try some nutrical. That stuff always perked Cookie's appetite up whenever she wasn't eating as much as I wanted. It's an indispensable thing to have when the pups are young.

| Well it sounds like yorkie puppies have a few quirks when it comes to eating their food. Lol! |
