| Biting, Face Licking, and Chewing on the rugs. Well an update with issues. Yoshi is now 5 months old, we have had him since Christmas. He is fully potty trained with 3-4 accidents a week which are typically our fault for not replacing the pad fast enough for him. Now I know he is teething but he wont stop trying to chew or bite on fingers. We don't allow it and tell him no and he will stop but a few minutes later will start again. When someone comes home or over he gets so excited. He waits for them to sit down then he goes crazy jumping and doing anything he can to face lick. Is this caused by all the kisses my Fiance gives him when she gets home? Cause he wont stop until he kisses everyone that walks through the door. When we first brought him home he tried to pull up the carpet where is separates to the tile in the kitchen. So I bought a cheap rug to lay down on the split. Well he continues to chew it and shred it. We continually tell him no and put him up any time he chews on it. We have new furniture with a new rug coming and I don't want the new rug destroyed. How can we keep him from chewing on the rug? He listens pretty well and he knows sit, stay, come, stand, down, ball, bone, treat, kiss. And NO! but chooses to ignore that one a-lot. |
