| I think Joel has it. I didn't take him to the vets but I looked online and it said to feed smaller meals and now he hasn't been having his episodes of swallowing a lot at night. If he eats too much or has to many treats it starts up, so I'm assuming it is some kind of acid reflux. |

| Yes my Allie has it. When ever I notice that she is having issues I have to give her a 1/4 tab of Famotidine (Pepcide AC ) per Vet instructions.

| My Vet referred me to Internal Specialist and we had an Endoscope done on her and checked her esophagus all the way through to her stomach. As of now she eat's a diet low in fat and protein. She eat's the Hill's WD. Med's when needed.

YT 500 Club Member | I know this is an older post but I wanted to tell you my puppy was just diagnosed with acid reflux. Symptoms are. Spits up yellow bile. Sometimes regurgitates water after drinking. Burbs alot. Gets boated stomach and does this fast quick hacking cough. Cough is probably from the acid comming up his throat. I give him pepcid ac and started him on a probiotic. Too soon to see if it will help. What symptoms does your baby have |

YT 500 Club Member | yes it does make sense. Sammie has stuff that comes up too that he does not spit out. I think thats when he does the quick fast hack cough. It is probably the stuff comming up to his throat and it makes him hack. At least thats what the vet told me. |

Furbutts = LOVE Donating Member Moderator | Yes, my Marcel seemed to have it for a while. Signs can be hacking, hard swallowing, swallowing then licking, coughing, regurgitation (sudden)... Here is a great article to read: http://www.yorkietalk.com/forums/die...wallowing.html
