| When I saw the title, I was going to post, don't worry your Yorkie is still teething but I see she is a year old. I think at this point she is going to be a darling little girl with her ears down. Were they ever up? During the young puppy stage, one can tape them up but I don't think it would help at this point. Anyone please correct me if I am wrong. If you had planned to show her, it would be quite a disappointment but other wise, I would just enjoy her with her sweet little ears down.

trim the hair on the back, in time they may go up or they may stay down, either way, you'll always have the love of your Yorkie

I think that if the ears were up, and then they went down, they will stand up again after the teething stage is over. Bella's ears were up at around 6 or 7 months of age.

My puppies ears are pretty much always up by 8 weeks are so. I think if they are not up by a year, it's too late to get them to stand. Some have bigger heavier ears and will never stand, some have ears that could go either way and if you trim or tape them up, they will stand. You could shaving the ear and taping but at a year, I personally think it's too late. Floppy ears are cute too, aren't they?

My biewer's ears were up and down for a year. I taped his ears off and on throughout that time. A little while after his first bday, they stayed up. So, maybe there is hope if you shave the hair off the tips and tape them.

Well, Yorkies ae supposed to have upright ears but sometimes if the ear leather is not strong enough they don't go up. Some people trim the hair off the ears and tape them to help the ears to go up but if your dog is almost a year I think he may be too old for that. I'm sure he is a cutie anyway.
