| Probiotics for Rosie My son is dating a girl whose mother is a doctor. After Rosie's tummy issues this week, she told me I should consider probiotics. I will run it by my vet before using. However, I would like to see what you all are using to ask him. So what brand do you use, where do you get it, and do you think it has been helpful? Thanks!

| I've been using probiotics that Ann recommended long ago. It's Benebac, and I can buy it at Petco. I get the small animal formula which comes in these small tubes, and are good for animals up to 10 lbs. I use it whenever Kaji has tummy issues. It always seems to work.

| Tibbe was put on some when he had so many GI problems year before last but he was on several other meds at the time, too, so I don't know if they did anything alone.

| I use Probiotic Max by Nature's Farmacy. Ann also recommended it, and their products are wonderful. I highly recommend it. I sprinkle it on top of Katie's home-cooked meals, and she likes the taste. I have given some to friends, and their dogs also like it. Here's some interesting reading about probiotics. I definitely believe they help Katie. I have also purchased the probiotic paste for times that I can't get Katie to eat and I think she needs it, but I haven't used it. | Callie all of a sudden many months ago was very gassy and not 100% on a schedule with a poo even though she was feed at the same times every day and her little tummy was always making sounds but there was no change in her food or anything. So it was then I started seeing all these adds for the pro bloom by honest kitchen its goat milk with probiotics in it. It comes in a powder and you mix it with water to make the milk. After a couple days Callie started having no gas and was getting a regular poo schedule and is still doing awesome on it. If we miss a day her tummy will start doing the sounds again but I try not to miss any days. She really really loves it and it really works for her. I have a local pet store I call and they order it for me and let me know when its ready to be picked up but you can order from honest kitchens website. I hope you fine something that works for Rosie.

| Very good options above! I have one off the wall, not very conventional recommendation. Tripe! It stinks & it's gross but it's nature's probiotic & they LOVE it. My guys have been eating the k9 Natural Lamb Green Tripe freeze dried & they're doing super! k9 Natural recommends adding warm water to reconstitute it & I breathe thru my mouth while I prepare it. If you can stomach the smell & feel comfortable feeding a raw food, I highly recommend. Their poopies are tiny & firm, only waste comes out!

| I've had Lexie on Fortiflora --one packet split between 2 meals--daily, for about a year now. She no longer seems to have any GI issues. Poops are nice & firm & she is very regular.
