Yes, alot of dogs have a "taste" for some weird stuff. My greyhound eats grass but only if she is sick or feeling bad.....she will usually eventually throw up and it is nothing but a pile of gooey grass....after that she is fine.....If I catch her eating grass I will really watch her close because I know she does not feel well..(she is sooooo old!!) You may have to watch her closely.....I think sticks and all cannot be good for the stomach!

Gracie loves to chew on sticks, play with leaves and sometimes tries to eat them, but grass I have never had a problem with. I know that dogs eat it when they have an upset stomach but otherwise never really read much about it being a problem.

| I have 2 Yorkies and 2 Beagles. The beagles tend to eat grass everytime that they feel ill. Our vet said this is normal in dogs. I hope this helps

dogs eat grass because it gives them a more rounded diet (and before you start laughing histerically, let me explain that it is instinct) it is the same as you eating salad..... the ONLY THING THAT IS HARMFUL is that there are little barbs on the blades of grass that can upset the stomach which is why they throw it up after eating it.....

Mojo does the same thing...sometimes i think he has an identity crises, he believes he is a rabbit :O He never threw up because of that, my vet said it is not a problem, i have been told by people that dogs eat grass when they have worms, or well, we run 2 fecal exams on Mojo and both came back clean, he has no worms and still eats grass...so i guess he just likes it!!
