| Hi there, Kory! Welcome to YorkieTalk! This is a great place to research and ask questions during and after your search for your Yorkie baby. The best place to start, to find a reputable breeder, is the Yorkshire Terrier Club's page. Look at the breeder referral list on ytca.org and then go from there. Remember that a good breeder breeds to better the breed..not for trends or money. So stay away from any breeder that mixes breeds, uses selling terms like "teacup", "tinies", or "mini". A Yorkie pup should stay with its mom until 12 weeks old. Make sure you see where the pups live if you can. Talk to past customers. Get a health guarantee and also ask if the parents have been tested for genetic issues. Hapoy hunting!
