| 6 Month old clicking her teeth. Lately my 6 month old yorkie has been clicking her teeth. It started this morning and is sort of like a very short chattering sound when she does it, like 3 or 4 clicks. I'm guessing this is a teething side effect, maybe she's working on a loose baby tooth? Is this normal? If it is teething related, are there more seemingly abnormal things I should be aware of so I don't overreact and take her to the vet without proper cause? If this isn't normal, what should we do next? |

| My Gracie Ruth, 6yr old, does this chattering thing too. Mostly when she wakes up in the morning or from a nap and she's cuddle up next to me. I've always took it to be her way of expressing contentment. I don't think it has anything to do with teething, but you could always call your vet for an opinion. Mine will tell me if a behavior I'm calling about is something that should be seen by him or just watched/ignored by me.

Furbutts = LOVE Donating Member Moderator | If she's teething, this could be normal. Do you think she might be shivering due to being cold in the morning maybe? Just a thought.
