| SOS please advise My baby just ate the foam covering off the earphone thing on the headset to my Ipod. It's really small like smaller than a dime and I am worried that it will expand in his stomach overnight if he drinks or I don't know what. My yorkie weighs about 6 lbs. |

| It won't expand. It would probably just absorb water and get mushy and heavy. I don't think it would cause a problem, especially in a 6 pounder. What do others think?

| I seriously doubt that the foam will expand. If you're ever curious about such things, just put it in a cup of water. Reminds me of the warnings of wedding rice and birds or those stupid tiny toys that inflate "x times their size" in water. Booooooo! |

| most soft foamy materials are already at their maximum size, water just fills the holes... you would have more to worry about if it ate something of a solid nature that has a tendency to absorb water such as uncooked rice. i also doubt its toxic, its probably made out of the same materials that pet toys are made out of. |
