| Barney got a snow day! We got so lucky and most of our predicted ice is snow. So now I get a lovely day at home with my pups and ELECTRICITY!!! Anna is repulsed by the snow and refuses to even walk out the door. Unfortunately, Barney loves being in the snow. He doesn't have any appropriate clothes for this weather. I have been letting him play in it, but not for too long at a time. After playing outside, he comes in and sits in front of the drawer with his grooming supplies waiting for the hair dryer. He's such a weirdo! Anybody else have snow babies that love the snow?

| How fun! My boys would love to play with Barney in the snow. Teddy is like Barney and asks for the hairdryer, lol. He is so silly and wants to go outside again after being dried. In and out. I would gladly trade our rain today for some snow.

I have dried his hair 3 times already and he is covered in tiny snowballs again. I may make him wait this one out for a bit.

| I bet Barney is having so much fun. We here in the Dallas/Fort Worth area have at least 2 inches or more of Ice and Frozen Sleet on top of that. Won't be going amywhere for a few day's as it's not going to get above freezing until at least Monday. Tonight they say possibly low of 15.

| Oh yes Jackson is a snow boy through and through! We have rain today. Yuck. But we're supposed to get snow on Sunday. Who knows though, our weather has been so bipolar lately. Two days ago it was nearly 70. This was a blizzard we had back in '10. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=UxViTQEkND0

I'm so sorry to hear that. Ice is terrible. Furbabies can't play on ice. If you have any chance of losing power, fill your bathtubs and sinks up. That way you will still have water to flush with. Of course if you are on city water, it's not an issue. Stay warm and stay home!

YT 1000 Club Member | As of this moment, it's only about 40° outside, and My Yorkies are going in and out as they want (Doggy Door). However, My rescue Navi (Chihuahua) is already shivering, with a sweater on, and underneath Her blanket in her Day Bed, with a small Electric Heater next to it. We're expecting it to drop to about 25° next Tuesday. Poor Navi

| I am in north central Arkansas. My son is near Marked Tree. He got iced in at Jonesboro where he goes to school. He had one final test left and couldn't leave before this all started. I am praying he doesn't lose power. I can't stand the thought of him being there without heat. From what I have seen on the news, that part of Arkansas had a mainly ice event. It is still snowing hard here. It looks like about 12 inches. I finally closed off the doggy door. No more outside for Barnster today. The last thing I need is a sick yorkie. My husband says there's a quarter inch of sleet and ice under all the snow.

I am waayyyy too big of a baby to do below 0. I admire you. It is fun having snow though. My husband just came in and said the highway has been closed off. So I guess we will not be leaving home today. It is supposed to get down below zero tonight. Brrrrr.

| We had temperatures in the 50's for the last few days but it is dropping fast and they say we could get some snow tonight. Gracie has been enjoying the short warm spell. She hates to walk in snow on the sidewalk but loves it in the yard. I don't know what the difference is to her but she is sensitive to cold and can't stay out too long when it is very cold, even with her coat on. We are all snuggled up together right now. It's always so nice when you can stay nice and warm at home with your babies and not have to go out. Some of us went to do some Christmas shopping this morning. Enough of that crazy mess! |
