| Pregnant dog dragging her butt...? My Yorkie's puppies is due this week and today she has started to drag her butt around the floor and it is freaking me out quite a bit because it's too late to take her to any vet close around here because they're all closed . I haven't been home to see any bowel movements so I don't know if it could be worms. However, if it is what can I due to help the puppies when they're born. |

| It could be her anal glands bothering her, they usually scoop on their behind. The vet should be able to take care of that.

| The scooting is USUALLY from anal glands being full or it's not really emptying properly when the dog is pooping. If you search on how to express anal glands on youtube, you'll find various "how to" clips on it. Or you can wait till the vet opens and get them to do it. |

| Its probably anal glands but when you have a female who is pregnant you need to have an emergency vet on stand by for emergencys because if an emergency happens to your pregnant female taking the time to search for a emergency vet could be the deference between life and death of your mom and or her puppies.
