| hello to all you yorkie lovers I have been skimming through posts and am in awe that I am not finding the negative attitudes so prevalent in so many pet forums. What a wonderful place to meet, discuss, ask and answer questions of like minded folks. I have bred for 30 years taking the last 9 off to care for my mom who died of cancer. At that time I had my one old boy who also left me soon afterwords and the old girl who would not leave moms bed after she passed.. Lost I needed a new family to care for. We bought 2 yorkie babies and a doodleman (she doesn't understand how she got so big) and they all sleep and play together with mom's old girl . They saved my life. Now I will give them the best I know how. |

| Welcome! You must, with all your experience, feel right at home already on a forum like this. I'm still a bit new--both to the forum and to yorkies, but my two and my mom's two (one yorkie, one shorkie) have really brought the life back into our family after several years of struggling with losses and other stress. I know your babies must mean the world to you. After being a caregiver for a family member, it feels good to provide care again for another living, loving creature. (I cared for my grandfather.) We'd love to be pseudo-introduced to your furry family if you'd like to post some photos! ETA: I'm very sorry about the loss of your mother.

| Welcome to Yorkie Talk. I am so sorry for the loss of your mother, but happy to hear you are surrounded by puppy love. I love having multiple pups around, and am constantly amazed at how my 4 fill my life with love and kisses, and lots of silly playfulness. What is a doodleman? Haven't hear of that before.

| Happy that you have found a kindly group of pet lovers to interact with. Most people on YT are really caring and generous with expert suggestions, warm words of encouragement and loads of prayer. I enjoy logging in often and reading the comments and sometimes adding my voice. I hope you will too. |

| sorry the reply took forever. Just couldn 't figure out how to get back!!!! Thanks to all for the welcome. A doodleman is a cross between a Poodle and a doberman. She is wonderful. Now that I can get back, I will try for pics. |
