| Yorkie rescue?? Texas panhandle Hey everyone... I've been super busy and haven't been able to post lately... A police officer in my town came to my shop tonight and said a little Yorkie had been dropped off at our local cemetery. He took him/her to our local pound. I adviced him to call me tomorrow so I can go get him/her, but I cannot keep "it" per city ordinance. Plz let me know if you are interested in adopting a neglected baby. Thx

| It would be a drive but my shelter would take it in. Poor thing. on a side note I think its a little funny you are at your max and the city won't let you have any more- all your pups together probably don't weight or take up as much space as a big dog

About the poor baby...Tomorrow is his/her last day in the pound. I still dont know if it is a boy or a girl, but they had to hold it for 3 days and I am to go pick it up tomorrow before they put it down. So sad.... I live in such a small town where everyone knows everyone, so that is why the local police department came to me about this yorkie. They all know I have yorkies and love them dearly. I will take it until I can find it a home. Hopefully, I can find its owner. The policeman told me he/she was not shaggy, but groomed, so I honestly wonder if its a lost/runaway/stolen baby. I asked if they had scanned for a chip, but UGGGHHHH, they havent been able to find their scanner, so I may take it to my vet first to scan hi/her. Wish me luck!!!!

YT 1000 Club Member | If you personally can't house it, then maybe a friend of yours can take it officially. You should have resources to "adjust" the regulations for them housing it. Three days is absolutely no time at all to research the owner. You should have a City Council, County Judge, possibly a Mayor who would like to "help' if it's close to election. All public officials like to be "animal friendly".
