| GROSS....Wallee keeps eating bunny poo out back I am so frustrated. I remember when we brought him home and I told hubby that when he got big enough to go down stairs we would have to figure a way to gate off the litter boxes cause we all know how much dogs love cat poo. Thankfully, he chooses "not" to go down the stairs not even when he purposely throws his ball down there for the stupid humans to fetch. Well recently we have a daily visitor in our yard (mr bunny). I chase him out every morning so Wallee doesn't go nuts barking while chasing as our neighbor already makes waves about him barking. Well, he has taken to sniffing the yard and eating the almost impossible for me to see bunny poo so often when we take him out we spend the whole time chasing him telling him LEAVE IT and end up taking him back in with no bathroom done at all....uggghhh...forgive me for ranting while I count to 10 and prey for snow to cover the ground. Blech:-[ |

| My two are doing that too. They are constantly wanting out to find more poo piles. They look up at me while they are chewing. They are driving me nuts. And kisses?....No thanks.

| Zoey has been eating rabbit poop since I got her. I talked to the vet about this and she said unless the rabbit is diseased the poop will not hurt dogs. It's just disgusting though.

YT 1000 Club Member | I have this problem with Rasta but instead of bunny poo its our other dogs poop (which my hubby is supposed to pick up ). I make a "tsk" sound to stop him, but have just decided to pick it up when I'm outside which my husband thinks is great lol. Bunny poo is pretty undetectable though...do they have some type of "safe" rodent repellent out that can deter Mr. Bunny from coming in your yard? |

| I feel your pain. My boys love the chocolate Easter eggs too. I've read here that bunny poop is a potential carrier of Lepto and other diseases, so definitely something you want to discourage. This reason #354,458 that we can't use our backyard.

2+2=4 X the Love ♥ Donating Member | My Quincy does the same thing . . you would think it was some forbidden delicacy or something the way he scours the yard in search of it. And than before I know whats going on he gobbles it all up. Than we deal with GI track issues and a runny mess. for a week or so. Pepto bismol works very well to solve any GI problems.

| I use Kayopectate. I bought one of those little medicine scoop-shaped things for a baby. I just put the Kayopectate in there and tip the head back a little and pour it in the side of the doggie's mouth between the cheek and the teeth. It goes right down without a fighting, squirmy pup and I seldom spill a drop. Love it.

With any type of eye dropper type thing or those ones that look like a syringe without the needle. Just a regular medicine applicator ! He's use to it so he sit pretty well for me.

| Ok. That's what I usually use but the last time I tried I think I still ended up with lots in his beard. Also how much do you give? |

I normally give 3/4 tsp a couple times a day. Plus if you tilt his head back and slip it in the side of his mouth toward the back it goes in much better than trying to tackle it form the front.
