| 15 week old blessings Here is the latest and greatest photo of Gus and Gertie warming themselves on the heater vent in the breakfast room. We have had them for 5 weeks. They are growing, gradually learning the house rules, have a long way to go, and are loved tremendously. We too have a lot to learn about their care and training and will very much appreciate being on this discussion group. It has been many years since we had a dog and in the intervening years have had many cats. What a difference there is between these two species. Also we never had two puppies at the same time. I think that will make the training a bit more complicated. They are brother and sister and are very devoted to each other. We originally wanted just Gus but when we realized that his sister was available and that they had never been apart, we could not allow them to be separated. We are quite happy with our decision. |

| Welcome to YT. You are going to find what a joy these little ones really are and as they grow you will think they are half cat they have lots of the same characteristics lol. Your picture didn't post so you will probably need to put it in your Paint program and resize it before you can upload it. Would love to see them.

| My dynamic bro sis duo are now almost 9 months old. We named them Daisy and Duke to be cheeky. We have never had 2 together either and it does make things a bit harder. However the reward when watching them play or when they curl up tightly to sleep together makes all the other stuff woth it. I very highly suggest taking them for puppy kindergarten and other classes. My hubby works long hours so I could not attend the classes and I know that they would have helped. With 2 they feed off eachothers energy so if you have one excitable one she can get the quieter one just as ramped up. They have learned to sit when asked and I count that as a win. Lol. Potty training is going ok but since we live in a condo I wanted them to use pee pads in addition to going out. My problem is that they don't ask to go out. Not sure how to solve that one. I did have a Yorkie for 14 years so I feel that I know about the breed but let me tell you that they are all unique and quirky and absolutely lovable. Are you on Instagram? I post my pics there and so do alot of YTers and there is also a weekly or monthly contest on there also. Would love to see your babies. Congratulations and good luck. This is a great place for support and info. Karen Duke n Daisy |

| Gus and Gertie are adorable!!!!! I am sure that the weather in Pittsburg isn't getting any warmer and you will find them snuggling a BUNCH!! LOL! Welcome to YT!! Hope you enjoy reading the threads!! I have learned a tremendous amount of info on the Yorkshire terrier here. I have 3 Yorkies: Shelby 9 years old, Seymour 9 years old, and Seeger 3 1/2 years old. A lot of fun.... but also keeps me very busy.

| Gus and Gertie are adorable. I love having multiple pups, and my little sister pair Karlee and Kayla, are especially wonderful. It has been extra fun watching them together, and their relationship is very special. All 4 of my girls get along well, but the sister bond is truly the best. Good luck, and keep sharing pictures now that you figured out how.
