No vomiting at all...can i give her anything to make her go? I am a nurse and no about elderly and blockages so i dont think she has a blockage and im sure shes pretty uncomfortable...any advise????? oh and her bellly is hard but its always hard after she eats or drinks a lot. shes had a lot of major issues in her life. Thanks for reading and i apologize if this isnt in the right forum. |

| I would definitely emergency vet for that. That sounds serious.

| These symptoms do point to an obstruction in vet med. She needs to be seen immediately. Letting it go can cause dying off of the intestines and then death. Vet now...

YT 1000 Club Member | I certainly agree with others, get Medical assistance quickly ! Just a word of caution/encouragement... I know it's not possible for all of us (given our locations) but I try to select a Veterinary Service which has full/or near complete Medial Services. In the case of items which are swallowed, a Noninvasive Ultrasonic Procedure would be very revealing as to just what type item may have been ingested. One would be well advised to seek out alternate assistances such as Ultrasound, X-Ray and many other services which may be required should your present Vet not provide those. I guess I'm bragging on how retentive I am, but.. I have an Envelope on top of the Refrigerator, that I would grab in an Emergency to take with me, which has... Cash, A list of Veterinary Services of and besides my regular Vet, (Emergency Room/Specialists/Other) Directions to any which are not normally used, Proof of Ownership, A list (for each Dog) of inoculations and previous procedures, And a note with large type that says... CALM DOWN
