| Newcomers!: Nikky & Spike!! Hi, I'm Nikky! I'm new to yorkietalk and to owning a Yorkie! I have a lil pup baby boy who is as spunky little thing! His name is Spike. I got Spike a week ago, his breeders—I guess you can call them that—weren't the most honest of people. They lied about his age, telling us he was 8 weeks just to get quick money from selling their puppies—which he clearly wasn't even supposed to be taken away from his mamma yet. He is a little over 6 weeks old. And, though he is too young, he isn't the first puppy I have cared for. (I had a Pit/German Shepherd pup, and then her pup 2 years later) Spike isn't the only dog in the house, as well. So he is learning how to interact with other dogs. With him, we have a total of 5: a rescued miniature Poodle, a Pit/German Shepherd, their pup, a rescued Husky and now lil Spike. (We have a lot of furry extended family members.) All in all, I'm extremely glad that I have Spike. He's a sweet, happy little baby that loves naps on my lap, and to wake me up early morning to have his potty breaks! He also adores squeaker toys! Anyways, I hope you all welcome both Spike and me here! I'm happy to join the yorkieTalk family and learn how to take care of my furry little bundle of joy! |

| Thanks! I actually put some pics of him on my profile. I don't really know how to add pics to posts, or else I would have. |
