| Wash it with Simple Solution It gets rid of it! You can find it in Petsmart. I bought a gallon, and put some in a spray bottle for quick cleanups.

| Have you thought about having them professionally cleaned and then trying to stay on top of it with a good spot cleaner? That is what we did and it made a big difference and plus we are now keeping diapers on our two boy pups..

| I found the best thing availiable, its put out by Melalucia, its a tea tree oil that works better than anything I have ever found..its not cheap, runs about $30.00 for a 16oz bottle, yet gets rid of 100% of the smell, even the dogs cant smell where they went before, you have to get it from someone that sells in your area, but if you go online they will get ahold of that personin your area, and from then on you are set..never found anything as good as that |

Yorkie Kisses are the Best! Donating Member | We have a flooring biz - the only way to completly rid yourself of those smells and stains is to replace carpet - barring that - REPLACE the pad under the carpet....if that's not an option - there is a odor remover - Natures Miracle.... sold at Petco I used that in my living room and layed on the floor 2 weeks later to see if I could smell anything and I couldn't - It all depends on how bad the stains are.....That's why we have mostly Tile in the house - urine is one of the hardest things to get rid of. |

| If you know where the areas are.. this home remedy is cheap and it works. 1 bottle hydrogen peroxide 1 teaspoon dawn dish soap 1 tablespoon baking soda Mix together in container..pour or squirt on spots,, let dry overnight, sweep up. SMELL... It worked for me on CAT urine spots,,and I truly believe that is the WORST Smell,,ever! Good luck

We just put in wood floors in the family room and office...the main area the boys are in with the kitchen and that is tiled....it just is easier... For our formal liv rm we had the carpet cleand and it has been good since....but the boys always wear bands now too.....gotta try the diaper thing.

| Well we just got rid of the carpet in the living room over the weekend and put in laminate hardwood floors, but for my bedrooms that have carpet, my husband bought me a carpet shampoor (sp) for Christmas and it works very well.

Donating YT 14K Club Member | Well, our carpet was the original and the former owners had a dog as well. Needless to say, I only have carpet in the bedrooms and I'm getting ready to take it up in the master bedroom. Tile...that's the way to go...WITH a sealent!!!
