YorkieTalk Newbie! | Little Chloe I am happy to report that we are going to be able to get little Chloe from her current owner. Chloe has been confined to a bathroom for the past 6 months with little to no human contact because the current owners are "too busy" to work with her on potty training. My heart has just been breaking to think about this little pumpkin who just needs some love and attention. Finally they have accepted the fact that this is no kind of life for any living creature. If all goes well our two shih-tzus, my husband, daughter and myself will be welcoming her into our home and hearts this Thursday. We know that it is not going to be all snuggles and licks, since we will have to potty train her at the age of 4 years old, but i really feel that with enough love and praise and the help of my two other dogs that she is going to do just fine. I am so excited I feel like I am expecting a new baby. LOL I am sure that I will be on here with questions and seeking some advice. I will post pictures as soon as I can. |

| That is so sad-to keep a pup locked away in a bathroom all the time! I'm so glad you were able to convince them that this is no life for any dog. I have learned so much here, as I'm sure you will too. Thank you for giving this little girl a better life. Shannon

| Oh, I'm so happy you're saving her! I just couldn't imagine having one in the house and not loving on him/her all the time. Poor baby. But it sounds like she's going to have lots of love now to make up for it! |

| That is so exciting! It's so close to my story of how I got Teena. She was spending 16 hours a day, & sometimes all weekend in the laundry room with a "big, mean dog". I found out about her one afternoon & by early the next morning she was on her way to her forever home with me. She was 2 years old & has been a joy for the last 4 years now. Good luck to you!

| So glad you are taking Chloe. I know you are not going to be sorry. It's going to take some work but I'm sure you will do fine. I don't know why people get dogs if they don't have time to take care of them. They should get a goldfish. |
