Poor Little Puppies Yesterday my husband and I drove to Fulton,Alabama to get some things in Walmart. In the Walmart parking lot there was three scruffy adults selling puppies. They had a cute little male yorkie he looked so.......sad.They asked us if we wanted to see him and my husband said no.There were other puppies part yorkie and poodle but all the puppies were going to be small.Anyways I asked how old the yorkie was and they said seven weeks .I told them that puppy was too young and needs its mother. The yucky woman said the mother dried up around six weeks and the puppies all ate well.It was deplorable to see these puppies in those wired cages and poop in there.I told her you are running a puppy mill and my husband was mad at me.He said we are out of state and please watch what I say to people.I hope somebody around this area can see these people and report them. They wanted 500.00 for the little yorkie male.I hardly slept last night thinking about the lives of these little pups.I know this is going on all the time and that idiot woman would not acknowledge what I told her so my guess was they were puppy millers.Sorry to vent but I am mad to see this.Susani

Wow, how deplorable!! It was unfortunate that your trip had to include such a distasteful encounter Poor puppies. I too hope that someone will put a stop to this. Was Walmart alarmed about them selling on their premises? Sorry about your loss of sleep, but it was for good reason, you know. Don't know what I would have done in your shoes; perhaps phone our local SPCA or shelter. So sad and it makes me angry to hear These puppies don't have a voice. Hopefully they will go to a good home. That's the only positive spin I can put on this thread.

Call PETA, ASPCA, HSUS........Tell them what is going on right in front of Walmart, as well as parking lots and flea markets all over the country.....point out to them if they were REALLY, HONESTLY concerned about protecting the buying public from dishonest, disreputable people selling sick, genetically inferior / damaged pups....if they were REALLY so concerned about puppymills and the horrific consequences perpetuated by them, rather than closing down honest, reputable breeders, and creating legislation that is actually designed to eventually shut down ALL breeding, meanwhile generating a wonderful source of untapped revenue for themselves, THESE are the people these activist organizations would be targeting. But then, what good would boxfuls of 6 wek old, sick, mixed breed puppies be to them, when they can raid reputable breeders, confiscate healthy, purebred, EXPENSIVE, healthy, raised and kept inside and underfoot, registered dogs and pups that can be kept for a couple of days so it wont be tooooo obvious what is actually happenng, and then sold for a wonderful profit.......the unsuspecting public just has NO idea what is acutally going on............
