Donating YT 4000 Club Member | Embarrassing things your dogs have done Have your dogs ever embarrassed you in front of your neighbors? Today one of my neighbors was over and Cali went diving under the couch. She came back out dragging a dust bunny as big as she is along with a pair of underwear. Obviously I need to do a better job cleaning!

| Lola hasn't done anything nearly that embarrassing, but she has done 2 little things. The first was when she burped loudly in a store, a woman turned around and stared, I think she thought it was me. The other was in the mall, Lola was in her zipped up stroller and she growled (an I wanna play growl not a mean one) at a little girl and barked 3 times. She never barks so we were very shocked. |

| Well My dogs can embarrass me alot. One time My minister came an sat on the couch.. All four of the dogs jumped on the couch of course, before I could round them up. His visit was a surprise so I didn't have time to really gather them to the other room.. Well anyway, Bobo the Lover he is jumped on his shoulder an started to licking his ear, then Max jumped in his lap, at this time the Minister looked at me with a look like" Uh what am I suppose to do" I grabbed Bobo, In the mean time Max is sniffing him and then decided to hump his arm. I was so embarassed. I grabbed him and put him in the other room.. then Libby the maltese jumps up on the couch next to him with Pearly right behind her and they get right on his lap.. They start to kissing him..(Licking) him like crazy. I just told the minister he must have a smell on him that the dogs like cause the all liked him.. He put his foot in his mouth this time by saying... Well I did just have a roastbeef sandwich an went to the restroom before I came.. well I looked at him and said.. well must have been the sandwich! hahaha.. OH well!

| another time... I was embarrassed was the time I had friends over for a Pampered Chef party.. I use Womens sanitary napkins and a wrap for My male yorkie (Bobo) cause he likes to lift his legs still, well any, were all in family room having a good ole time laughing an stuff.. when bobo comes strolling in with the band off and the napkin sticking to his hair and about half on.. sticking to him and dragging.. The ladies asked.. " what is that the dog is dragging? looks like toilet paper or a kotex! I looked over and there it was.. I had to explain to them why I use them on Bobo.. and It wasnt me that lost my sanitary napkin.. haha

| Lol, these are great. The one that pops into my head is when we were vacationing in Gettysburg and walking down a busy sidewalk when Jackson decides to just stop and take a poop. Right in the middle of the sidewalk. So everyone is like walking around us... and it just happens to be a poop that takes FOREVER (Ok well maybe it seemed longer to me...)... Yeah that was somewhat embarrassing.

| I love this thread! I was having a rough night until I read this. This made my day. Not my dog, but a friend's sniffed my privates for a very long time. I kept trying to walk away. I probably shouldn't have shared this. I'm sure it has some embarrassing and gross meaning. It was awkward and embarrassing. I felt like we needed a room.

| I have to watch Gizmo very closely when we are on walks. Today a little 3 year old girl was petting him at the park, she was so excited to meet the puppy lol. Well Gizmo was very excited too as he proceeded to start humping the little girls leg right in front of her mother. Thankfully the mom had a good sense of humor and just laughed, when I explained that Gizmo just really liked her a lot and got excited :-( he humps everything he likes whether its alive or not, it's how he shows how much he loves something/someone lol. |

| Another humping story As I was walking down a flight of stairs to awaiting little Zoey at the bottom , grandson in tow, she jumps on my foot midair and quickly starts humping away, two front legs wrapped tightly around my ankle and her two back legs pedaling 90 mile an hour! Grandson laughs and says" oh look Mimi , Zoeys riding a bike!" Right after in walks Grampy and grandson says" hey Mimi , show Grampy how Zoey can ride a bike!" Ohhhhh my. |

HAHAHAHA, isn't it funny how they do this. It seems to be a yorkie trait. Today was the first time Gizmo has done this to such a little girl lol. I was like great my pup is molesting a 3 year old little girl lol. He's done it to many adults, and all of his toys, especially his favorite little dog. But he has never done this to a small child :-( I was mortified until the mom started laughing. I was then able to breath a sigh of relief, I was thinking she might be wondering how I was training him hehehe. | |

| This embarrasses me. Tatiana is a one-person dog. She only loves me, and has eyes only for me. She acts like I'm the only person that exists in the world. I AM her world. She blatantly IGNORES everybody else (including my husband), and gives doggie rejection to everybody. Her behavior is borderline rude. With me, she is completely different. She's affectionate, loving, attentive, and adorable. To everybody else, she acts like they don't exist. Oftentimes, I apologize for her, saying,"Sorry, Tatiana is a one-person dog. She only loves me. Sorry." |

| These stories are funny! The most embarrassing thing was not witnessed, but I had to tell our vet about it. When Max had his eye problems, I had to tell our vet that Teddy accidentally peed in Max's eye! Teddy likes to mark wherever Max does, and Max was checking his work when Teddy lifted his leg.
