| Holiday mail for heroes As we are thinking about those darling Yorkie Talk Christmas cards you may be making for Christmas and the new Christmas dresses you may be sewing for them..... I would like to let anyone who is interested know about the Holiday Cards for Heroes project by the Red Cross. Some of our men and women will not be hugging their pets or family this year and would enjoy one of those cute cards! The rules: Cards only, no packages No glitter No inserts No monetary gift No personal information like names, email, addresses or phone numbers The envelopes will be taken off and discarded, the military folks will only get the cards They must be postmarked by December 6 Send To: HOLIDAY MAIL FOR HEROES PO Box 5456 Capitol Heights, MD 20791-5456 My son, who always seems to be deployed during the holidays, has gotten some of these and decorated the inside of his plane and barracks with them and even brought them home for us to see. Doesn't take much effort on our part to brighten a Christmas Day. Thought you may consider this.
