| Puppy lost 3 teeth in 3 days...Normal? My 6 month old Chorkie has lost 3 teeth in 3 days..they are small and flat with no roots...His breath also smells a bit like antiseptic but I'm sure his teeth aren't rotting..Is this normal?? Laurel |

| He's teething- he's making room for his adult teeth, so yes, 3 teeth in as many days is fine. The breath issue I can't help you with- I'd call his vet to be sure there isn't anything going on there.

| That's pretty normal for puppies. I remember when Toki started teething. I looked into her mouth one morning after waking up and all of her lower teeth between the 2 canines were laying sideways hardly attached...I was so shocked! And she had pretty rank breath during the teething period. Just make sure you brush the teeth but there's not much you can do for the bad breath related to teething during that phase. |
