| Need Advice...... Retired and living in two States, traveling extensively and finding dog sitters is causing my two Yorkies stress and separation anxiety. Also causing myself the same! Seriously considering trying to find them the perfect home. They are 11 year old brother and sister, cannot ever be separated and only the ideal situation would I consider. I'm looking for someone who doesn't travel, preferably a home body, likes a walk a two per day and will love two low key, Yorkies. I live in a high rise half the year and have tried everything but they will not relieve themselves anywhere but outside. I live in Maine and Florida. Any suggestions as to how I might find the perfect home? |

| Have they been with you for 11 years? Can they not travel with you? One of the benefits of a small dog is that they are easy to travel with! I bring Jackson everywhere that he can go with me, and he very much enjoys it. I would just find it sad to place two 11 year olds who have been with you their whole lives in a new home. But I understand things happen and come up. I just can't imagine. And finding a home for 2 dogs who have to stay together is always harder, let alone 11 year old dogs... if you do have to rehome, find a reputable rescue who will do a through screening.

| I can't imagine giving up two dogs that I have had for that long. If you really feel you can't keep them I would advise you to contact a Yorkie or small dog rescue....not a shelter. A Yorkie rescue has experience finding homes for Yorkies, although dogs that age are always going to be especially hard to place. |

| I will keep you and your babies in my prayera. Hoping this leeds to a joyful ending. Please make sure they are at least in good care. I agree. A yorkie rescue would be the best choice. Or someone you may already know.

| I travel with my two boys often, I guess in retirement you are going over seas. Would you consider travelling less extensively over getting rid of your dogs. Perhaps there are family members who would be glad to take them from you that way they are familiar and you can always go visit |
