| Taping my Yorkies Ears We are going to be brining home our baby Maggie very soon. We are not sure if her ears are going to stand up on their own or if we are going to have to tape them. From my understanding that is VERY hard to tape...so if we could get some help and suggestions. We are great if she is going to have ears that stand up or are down, but want to make the right decision either way to leave alone or tape or go to a vet for help. If you have any help/suggestions or know from looking at her if her ears are going to stand up on their own or need taping that would be a great help!!! Thanks for all the advice..new to this an not sure exactly what we are going...

| If her ears are heavy and laying flat on her head they probably won't stand. If they are partly up they probably will. I wouldn't worry about it until 12 weeks or so. If you go to www.shooterdog.com and check the "Alex's FAQ's page there is a good tutorial about taping. |

| Both of my dogs ears went up on there own. Their ears go down when they are young and teething. I would not worry about taping untill 3 months old.
