| Ear Infection I was wondering if anyone had this problem with a yorkie. Two weeks ago the vet put Nick on medication for allergy. I had him at the park a week later and he started to fall down and could not walk. I took him to the vet again on Monday and they did blood work and found nothing but changed his meds. On Wedesday I had him back at the vet asking them to check his ear because I think he has a ear infection and would that be why he was losing his balance. He said he seen fluid on his ear but he did not think that was the problem. I feel that it is and he will finished his antibotic on Sunday and his balance is much better but was not as good today as it was yesterday. Has anyone had a yorkie that had ear problems which caused him to have balance problems. He does rub his left ear on the floor so I really feel it is his ear and the vet is looking for something worst and missing this. Please help me if anyone have any suggestion. |

| I'm sorry to hear that! I cant help you...but i do have a question for somebody who might be able to answer.. I just got a puppy 3 1/2 months old. I bathed her 2x's now and havent taken her to the vet YET..i have an appt. on Tuesday. Although, i did notice a funny smell on her head area. Thinking it might be her ears? Do the ears smell a little if a dog has an ear infection? Or is it just that she might be a little smelly and needs another bath? |
