QUICK!! How is Virginia Beach for dogs?? leaving tomorrow! So, Spirit Airlines screwed me. Was supposed to fly out tomorrow at 730 am from Philly to Myrtle Beach. Thank goodness I checked my email. At 830PM they emailed that my flight was cancelled. The one in from Myrtle was also cancelled. After being on hold 30 minutes and arguing I got them to refund me. I'm not risking a flight on MOnday being cancelled, or my return flight. They claimed its due to weather....it's beautiful...what weather? SO, we'll get in the car and take Maggie to VA beach. I know the beach and some hotels are dog friendly, but WHAT IS THERE TO DO!! Myrtle has so many shopping areas and stuff (if you've been then you know.) HELP!! ADVICE please.

Thanks, MB is so much better! Trouble finding paces to eat here, with or without dog. I miss barefoot landing and broadway at the beach....sand is more brown than white too.

I live in NC by the OBX. Va beach is just a 40 min drive from me. There are plenty of dog friendly hotels. There is plenty of shopping to do around here, traveling as well. It just all depends what you are looking for. The weather has gotten a bit cooler out here so make sure to bring fall ish clothes I hope you enjoy it out here
