| Rocco's gum surgery today Dropped him off at 8:00am, poor baby was so confused and shaking like a leaf. I was explicit in my instructions that I do NOT want any of his teeth removed unless someone calls me to discuss why and get my permission first. Fingers crossed it will not be necessary. Cried on the drive home just thinking of him wondering why mommy is leaving him there. Oh what a long day I have ahead of me.

♥Trained by my pups♥ Donating YT 500 Club Member | I am right there with you. I dropped my three off this morning for dentals also. They made me leave before they took them back. They said that way they don't think I am out in the other room. I felt so bad walking out while they watched. It will be along day for sure

| Update Surgeon just called and said Rocco did well and she did not have to remove his front teeth!!! However, after removing the tumor the roots are a bit exposed but she hopes that the gums settle down to cover them up, and his teeth were nice and strong still. No other tumors or abnormalities in his mouth, and he had a bit of tartar that was removed (she did a full dental). She is a little concerned because even benign tumors are not often seen in a dog his age (3yrs 9 months), and will be awaiting the results of the path report. Have to call after 3pm to see when he is ready to be picked up...
