| Jackson at Barn Hunt He did great! I was so happy. I honestly wasn't sure what he would do. Sometimes he's weird in new settings, or with other people watching/spectating so we just did his Instinct test today (now kinda wishing I would've sprung for both, and done the RATI and the RATN - novice- test today but wanted to see how he would do first before shelling out the $$$). He got first "place" (if they counted places in RATI but they don't, unfortunately) but he found the rat within 17 seconds and came out on top, YAY Jackson! This was our first time, obviously, but right after I let him off leash he went right through the tunnel (I thought I'd have to direct him lol) but he was off, through it, jumped on hay, sniffed one tube, and kinda stopped there for a few seconds and then walked away. I gave him an extra 2 seconds to sniff the others but he didn't seem interested so I called it. Haha. Here's the video: And I just have to brag on my boy a little. He's just so well behaved and I totally am not appreciative of it until I'm around other dogs lol. The little Norwich Terriers were all spazzes, lol, cute little things though! And a lot of the dogs were pretty crazy, but Jackson just took it all in stride. He never barked at any other dogs, he would politely say hello to the friendly ones, and sat down or laid down waiting for his turn. He got a bit excited when it was almost our turn, which made me smile, and then it was down to business! He can so serious sometimes, he gets into 'work mode'. But I was just so proud of him. Even my dad went with me today and was like "he's really good". I totally love this dog. <3 Oh LOVED the Border Terriers too. Really having major 'wants' for one. They were the only other terriers there with Jackson's personality - excitable when necessary, but otherwise pretty chill/friendly and there for 'business' hehe. His first ribbon. Check out Barn Hunt if you haven't yet! It's a new dog sport. www.barnhunt.com

| I just kew Jackson would be perfect for a Barn Hunt. It sounds like so much fun and right up a Yorkie's alley. Glad you and Jackson had fun. He looked like he had done this a million times in the video.

| Way to go Jackson! Handling the hunt with ease. Congratulations on winning your first ribbon! Happy to hear you enjoy your new sport. I would love to get Teddy involved in this. Max would probably take 10 minutes checking everything out like a chicken, lol, unless he could work as a tag team with his brother.

| Jackson handled himself like a pro! I loved how he checked out that box or whatever it was the lady held out to him - soooooooooo Yorkie-like - interested but cautious with a little step back yet got to know so back in to scope it out! Reminded me of Tibbe! You have brought up Jackson to represent the terrier species very well to the community. I'm sure all that see him are left with a great impression of how fun-loving, well-behaved, totally involved and adorable a larger Yorkie can be.
