| Memory foam beds Hi all.... Has anyone used memory foam beds for their dogs. If yes is it worth the additional money? Thinking of getting one fro each of my doggies. Thanks Tina

| My older big dogs have them and love them, for my little guy I just went to the fabric store and bought memory foam about $8 at Walmart then put it inside a zippered pillow case. My boys love it. I have one for their crate and one for around the house. Prefer memory over traditional beds which seem to get lumpy over time. |

| Pebbles has a bed in the living room and I also bought a memory foam doggie mat which I placed on the floor in a corner. During the day she prefers sleeping on the mat, she likes to stretch out on it and always seems really relaxed when she's lying there. |

| Thanks...have got to get them. Think I will try buying the memory foam pad and putting a pillow case over it first and then if either one of my dogs likes it I will get a couple of beds. Time to update the beds and donate the old ones tina

YT Addict | I've bought a couple memory foam beds and Maggie and Bogey ended up chewing them and eating some of the memory foam. Luckily they were able to pass it or they would have ended up at the vets. We can't have comfy beds around here, just some soft blankets.

| I think I will hold off on the memory foam until he is out of the puppy chewing stage. I wanted to make a bed to fit his small crate. I can't have him on the bed with me, so he will be sleeping in the crate next to my bed. I will just put a fleece blanket in there for now, but won't he chew that too? I sure hope not.

YT Addict | They've never chewed up their blankets. The memory foam is soft and easy for them to bite into and chew. They loved sleeping on it and I hope some day they will quit chewing and I'll be able to get another one. If your little guy is only sleeping on it at night then maybe he won't chew it up. They did their dirty work during the day when they were wide awake. Little stinkers!
