| Has your Yorkie ever caught a mouse? Just wondering if anybodys yorkie has ever caught a mouse? We live out in the country so we are prone to field mouse. Recently Raven has been going crazy running around after a mouse. I guess i'm going to have to get the traps out and make sure they are not accessible to Raven. At least I know she will sleep good tonight.

| Yes one of my associates was/had a two pounder that was an avid mouser. She could beat any cat around. Joy |

| Well - you know these little terriers (and most other terriers) were bred to catch and kill mice and rats!!!! Get ready.... Guess somebody has to do it! Carol Jean |

Yorkie Kisses are the Best! Donating Member | We don't have mice... but Cheri caught a bird in mid air a few weeks ago. She didn't know what to do with it and Chanel stole it and then they both ran around the yard showing it off - I had to chase them down ....and sadly the little birdie didn't make it. This makes bird #2 |

| Ewwwwww.... Villette, I can identify with the bird thing...Angel was always completely fascinated with my parakeets, and anytime they would flap to exercise, she would bark her silly brains out. I unfortunately had a smart bird who knew how to open her cage, and I forgot to lock it one day. When my husband came home after work, all he found was a beak and a couple feathers. And Angel smiling. Ewwwwwww....

| Ha! I guess Angel had a taste for bird because we deprived her in her diet!! She had poultry alergies, so she was always on lamb and rice. Therefore, she decided she would get her OWN bird! LOL Here I am laughing, and you know I was not laughing 5 years ago when Angel ate Baby...she was a great parakeet. Angel thought she was pretty great, too!!

| Zoe does a better job at finding Mice in the house than our two cats...once a mouse was under our piano and I couldn't get to it...(I catch them in a jar and then I set them free outside....I know..I know....i'm probably catching the same mouse) and Zoe sat by the piano for 6 hours and barked and barked until my husband came home and helped me catch it...the cats just sat there and looked at zoe like she was the stupidest thing on earth.....we never knew what Zoe would do with the mouse if she caught one but once last summer Zoe finally caught a Chipmunk that tormented her nonstop (it would sit in the living room window and chitter at Zoe) and Zoe killed it within 3 seconds ....it was really scary the way Zoe acted when she caught it....you would have sworn she was 300 pounds instead of 6....she huffed and puffed for an hour after the killing |

| Oh wow... I had forgotten I had to take a chipmonk away from Angel once!! Poor little thing was only a baby and I caught Angel just as she grabbed it and was able to get her to drop it. The poor chippy was stunned, so I had to pick it up (eeewwwww) and put it on the other side of the fence. Angel stood on her side of the fence and snuffed her nose under it and barked and barked until I could not take it anymore and put her in the house!!! My Angel, the Great Silver Hunter!!

Senior Yorkie Talker | We live out in the country so we have field mice sometimes. We had one to get in the house not long ago and Kaytlyn saw it and ran and jumped on my lap and waited on her daddy to get it. She sat on my lap until her caught it then she got down. She is so spoiled..lol

Yorkie Kisses are the Best! Donating Member | LOL !!! Yorkies are just SO freakin CUTE ! What different personalities they all have - I love these stories - both my girls are so fearless in their yard - and will chase ANYTHING that flies too low or climbs - but take them out to the doggie park and they don't leave my lap at ALL - nothing but 2 little wussies... |
