YEAH!!! Success!! I have been so frustrated with my dear Annie. I cannot get her to potty in her gated area. So someone in YT mentioned a book about house-training and I followed their steps and she pottied in her gated area this morning!! YEAH!!!! Thank you, thank you YT friends for all your wonderful advice!!! DH said "it's only the first day, so don't get your hopes up." I can't help it, I am just sooooo proud of my little girl!!! Fingers/paws crossed that she keeps up the good work! Happy Monday!

Isn't it a great feeling when they do what they are supposed to do? The first time Brandi used her potty pad on her own I was so excited. I gave her lots of praise. Way to go Annie! It really does get better.

It is the most wonderful feeling!! Every time I would put her in her gated area, she would just give me that Yorkie stare and do absolutely nothing! I was becoming so frustrated. I almost wanted to crack open a bottle of champagne to celebrate this morning!! I pray that it gets better....

Awwwww, thanks everyone!! Annie is grateful for your love and support! She has been sooooo good. She goes potty inside every morning and today, she chose DH over me to sit with as we drank our coffee!!! DH and I were tearing up our old mattress for recycling, so I left Annie in the sunroom alone. BUT....dummy me forgot to take her potty first. When I checked on her an hour later....she left me two surprises! When I came out to check on her, she cowered so and it broke my heart because I think she may have been hit when she had accidents. I just took her in my arms and told her that it was my fault for not checking on her and gave her tons of kisses. Oh, I just love my little sweetie!! Today,we are attempting our first bath....hope it goes well! Thanks again! Katheleen
