Donating YT 30K Club Member | A picture will help. Some coat types grow slower than others. Do they both have the same type of coat? Or is one more silky than cottony?

| Your posts are delayed a little so it gets confusing. Won't be like that much longer..hang in there. She looks like she has another breed in her line but I have learned that isn't always the case. Maybe a problem with her hormones or something physical. Bile acid test and complete blood work up would be a starting point for you I think.

| I am no expert, but she looks mixed. If she isn't mixed, she just may have a slower growing coat. |

| I've found the darker coats grow a bit slower than the lighter ones. The dog is still very young so you will have to wait and see. You need to know if it is purebred and if not what other lines it has. Meanwhile keep brushing, it's good for you both. |

| The body hair looks right, but the hair on the head looks short--it doesn't look thin, though. Besides getting blood work done at the vet, I would also get a DNA breed purity test. I'm not saying that your dog is not a purebred Yorkie, but a DNA test would help rule out the possibilities. |

| She is cute! She's adorable , but I think she might be a mixed breed... and that might have something to do with why her coat isn't growing. Do you have a photo of the other pup?

| I've asked the breeder so many times if she was mixed with anything and she always swear to me that she isn't, her parents are beautiful, I really hope she's not because I paid too much money for a mixed dog and she is akc registered. Some people tell me she may be red legged or wiry haired but I'm not sure wat that means. |
